Attention Parents!!
Washington Middle School is proud to offer an exciting new after-school program. The National Conservatory of Flamenco Arts will be offering flamenco classes twice a week for all interested Washington Middle School students. During this free program, students will be exposed to flamenco concepts and techniques through choreographies which will be showcased at various school events. The National Conservatory of Flamenco Arts is proud to offer this program free of charge thanks to support from Bernalillo County. This program, a professional preparatory program, would normally cost each student $912.00 per year. The teachers from the National Institute of Flamenco will be working closely with school officials to document the benefits of having an extra-curricular activity such as this in the school system. The National Conservatory of Flamenco Arts is pleased to offer this program and hopes this is just the beginning of their future at Washington Middle School. Parents, please remember this is a first come first serve program and currently the classroom maximum is thirty-five students so be sure to sign your son or daughter up promptly.
