Academic Programs

Advanced Courses

Students have the opportunity to take classes such as Algebra1 and Honors Algebra, earning high school credits, in addition to Gifted classes for those who have been identified as Gifted and Talented.

Dual Language

Math, Algebra, Social Studies and Spanish Language Arts are offered in the instructional target language of Spanish for students who would like to participate in Dual Language Programming. We also are able to offer gifted Spanish Social Studies for students identified as gifted in the Dual Language Program.

Special Education

We provide special education services that meet the individual needs of the child, are developmentally appropriate, and strength-based. Services are planned in collaboration with all the child-serving systems involved in the child’s life, and are provided in a supportive learning environment.

Students can choose from a variety of courses, including those in:

  • Physical education
  • Leadership
  • Business technology
  • Digital Graphic Design
  • Yearbook

AVID

Advancement Via Individual Determination is geared to engage students on a path toward college. AVID includes challenging coursework, tutoring, study skills support and strategies to help improve academic performance.

Advisory

Students meet with their advisory teacher daily. Advisors help students stay organized, check grades, learn behavioral expectations and stay connected with a caring adult.
